Vertical Installation Guide

Position

Fix the first two brackets so that they are located about 100mm(4 inches) from the outer edges of the blind head rail. Any remaining brackets should be evenly spaced between two brackets.

If you are using top fix brackets, make sure that, the front edge of the bracket is at least 75mm(3 inches) from the window or wall surface which will be facing the blind. This space is required to ensure that there is enough clearance for the operation of the blind louvers so that they can rotate freely to open and close.

Installation-Face Fixing

Use the screws provided to fix the bracket to the surface.

Holding the head rail at a slight angle, hook the rear channel of the rail into the real lip of the fixing bracket. Now rotate the rail upwards until the top is flush with the brckets. Finally tighten the front screws which will hold the rail firmly in place.

Installation - Top Fixing

use a single screw in each bracket to fix it to the surface.

Holding head rail at a single angle, hook the front lip in the channel of the rail into the front of the lip of the mounting bracket. Now rotate the rail upwards until you hear it 'click' securely into the rear lip of the bracket.

Installation of Cord retaining device - Important child safety information.

All Home Choose blinds are made with child safety in mind and manufactured in accordance to BSI safety standards. When installing your blind make sure that the cord retaining device is mounted at the maximum possible distance away from the control mechanism so as to prevent the loopes cord(s) becoming slack.

Assemble

Assembly is quick and easy. Start by hooking the blind louvres into the hooks of the head rail.

Insert the weights into the sleeves in the bottom of the louvres

Next clip the louvre stabling chain onto the weights. To make it easier, fit the rear chain first and follow with the front chain. If there is any chain left over, this can be cut so it is flush with the last weight.

Child Safety

All Home Choose blinds are made with child safety in mind and manufactured in accordance to BSI safety standards. When installing your blind make sure that the cord retaining device is mounted at the maximum possible distance away from the control mechanism to prevent the loops cord(s) becoming slack.

Make sure the device is fixed with suitable fixings and ensure that the retainer is completely closed.
